1. Account ( Business listing members and Sellers )

  1. you must be 18 years or older or at least the age of maturity in the jurisdiction where you reside or from which you use this Service. The person signing up for the Service will be the contracting party (“Account Owner”) for the purposes of our Terms of Service and will be the person who is authorized to use any corresponding account we may provide to the Account Owner in connection with the Service. ( which means if you signed on behalf of somebody. with your own identity, you are then the owner of the Account and legally bound to be resposible for the Account);
  2. in order to sell or open a Micro website on Selsop, you must register for an account, by providing your full legal name, current address, phone number, a valid email address, and any other information indicated as required. Selsop may reject your application for an Account, or cancel an existing Account, for any reason, in our sole discretion;
  3. Selsop will use the email address you provide as the primary method for communication. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Selsop cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to maintain the security of your Account and password;
  4. You agreed that , all the information on your Account are true, current and accurate;
  5. You may not transfer your account (including Feedback) and user ID to another party without our consent;
  6. you may not use the services of Selsop for any illegal or unauthorized purpose (thats means you should not sell , post, list or upload contents or items which are illegal or inappropriate ), that violate any laws in your jurisdiction, the laws applicable to your customer’s jurisdiction, or the laws of Germany and the Gambia (Selsop jurisdition). You will comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in your use of our Services;
  7. you are responsible for all activity and content such as data, graphics, photos and links that is uploaded under your Account Content. You must not transmit any worms, viruses or any other technologies that may harm Selsop, or the interests or properties of Selsop´s users;
  8. you may not use the contact information of other users for any purpose other than in relation to a specific Selsop  transaction (which includes using this information to send marketing materials directly to selsop users unless you have the consentof the Owner);
  9. Fraud, False Identity or Content: you agree not to commit fraud, or give us false identity or content . Selsop will suspend or terminate your Account if we suspect or determine that you,(by conviction, or otherwise) have engaged in fraudulent activities , using false identity or contents on our website. We will also report you, to your Authorities for legal actions;
  10. the sales contracts and return policies laws, are govern by sellers and Buyers jurisditions, that means, the local laws of Buyers and Seller places of residence will apply. At the moment Selsop only encourages Local businesses to sell their goods and service locally, not internationally.

2. Seller Requirement

  • Item description-  you should only describe the item you're selling in the appropriate listing catergories and Provide an accurate details and condition of the items;
  • Items listings will be first approve by selsop, before it appears on the marketplace. We may ask additionals information and it can take up to 24 hours or more for any listiting to be online;
  •  You should include the real Pictures of your items for sale listing;
  • You must not provide inconsistent or misleading information on products descriptions;
  • You must not use Selsop name on any of your businesses or listings, thats means not to try to indicate that your business or listings are own or part of Selsop;
  • Sellers are required to sell items at the price they listed to customers that meet the seller’s terms;
  • You must make sure the items you’re offering are in stock for the duration of the listing and are delivered to the buyer, unless the buyer doesn't meet the terms of your listing;
  • It is your responsibility to cancel and inform your buyers if you run into an inventory problem that's beyond your control;
  • You should cancel your listings after selling your item;
  • Sellers and Buyers have the responsibility to negociate the payments and deliveries method of the sold items, and should always consider their safety first ( read Sellers and Buyers Safety );
  • Taxes - seller’s are responsible to collect and remit any taxes associated with a transaction. Selsop is not responsible for determining when tax should be charged and will not be held responsible for the collection or lack of collection of any taxes.

3 Buyers requirements

  • You agree that, you are entering a legally binding purchase contract with a third party ( Sellers ) not selsop. Selsop only provides the plattform where sellers and buyers  met;
  • you agree that, you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making commitment to buy;
  • you agree to enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item;

4.General Conditions

  1. The Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Gambia in english, for African jurisdiction (people living in Africa ) and Germany in german for the rest of the world applicable therein, without regard to principles of conflicts of laws. The parties irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Gambia ( Africa jurisdiction ) and Germany ( the rest of the world ) with respect to any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Terms of Service.

You acknowledge and agree that Selsop may amend these Terms of Service at any time by posting them with the 'Date' & New ' on Selsop’s website, available at https://www.selsop.com/terms/conditions and the amendments to the Terms of Service are effective as of the date of posting. Your continued use of our Services after the amendment of our Terms and conditions are posted to Selsop’s website constitutes your agreement to, and acceptance of, our amended Terms and Condition . If you do not agree to any changes to the Terms of Service, do not continue to use our Service;

You agree not to duplicate, copy (except a copy for your own information in relation with our website), distribute, publicly display any conten or exploit any portion from our Services without the prior express written permission of Selsop, as applicable. 5. Selsop Rights

  1. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Service for any reason, without notice at any time. We may cancel unconfirmed account or accounts that have been inactive for a long time or modify or discontinue our Services;
  2. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time;
  3. Selsop reserve the right to suspend, or terminate your account(s),  restrict or prohibit your  access to  our Services, make changes to discounts, and take technical or legal actions to keep you from using our Services:

Selsop does not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the Service will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected or legal. You ( Business Account owners , Users) accept sole responsibility for the legality of your actions under laws applying to you and the legality of any items you list on of our sites;
  6. despite using techniques, which aim to verify the accuracy and truth of the information provided by our users, user verification on the internet is difficult. Selsop cannot and does not warrant or confirm, and is not responsible for ensuring, the accuracy or truthfulness of users' purported identities or the validity of the information which they provide to us or post on our sites;

7. Users Content and Intellectual Property

  1. Uses are the owners of their contents which they provide to selsop, however, you agree to give us permission to use it in the ways necessary to provide our services. For example, when you upload a photo, you give us the right to save it, and also to display it on your site at your direction. We also may promote or feature your account, all material you upload remains yours. You can remove your Account at any time by a written request to deleting your Account, with a 30 days grace period.
  2. By uploading your business and your Contents, you agree: 
  • to allow other internet users to view your Account Content ;
  • to allow us to display and store your Content;
  • that we can, at any time, review all your Contents submitted by you to our Services.

        3. We will not disclose your confidential information to third parties, except as required in the course of providing our services. Confidential information are all materials or information  provide  by you to us which are not publicly known. Confidential information does not include information that:

  • was in the public domain at the time we received it;
  • comes into the public domain after we received it through your consent and not our fault ;
  • we received from someone other than you without breaching our or their confidential laws;
  • if we are required by law to disclose.
  1. Selsop shall have the non-exclusive right and license to use your contents to improve and promote our Services.

8. Fees and payments

  1. Our memberships are Bronz. Silver and Gold, they are at the moment Free ;
  2.  we may in future charge fees for Silver and Gold membership. Bronz membership will be always  Free .
  3. The fees we will be charging for our Services in the future, will be listed on our add your Business page on the main menu.
  4. we may change our fees, or introduce new fees from time to time , with a 30 days in advance notice.
  5. You may close your account without penalty within 30 days of such notice being given.

9. Cancellation,Termination and Opting

  • Selsop will cease to provide you service, when it ist terminated by either party for any reason.
  • Upon the termination of our services, any outstanding balance owed to us for your use of our Services with the effective date of such termination will immediately become due and payable in full.

10 Reporting Fraud, Dispute and other Problems
